Nine tools now compete to tell you whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI features cite your brand, and one of them also does the work it measures. We read every vendor's own pricing page on October 19, 2026 and compared them on entry price, what the entry tier actually tracks, and who each one fits. For hands-on notes on the tool categories themselves, see our tested tour of AI SEO tools.
Top picks: Profound for enterprise scale, Otterly.AI for value, OGTool for tracking plus execution in one bill, SE Ranking for suite users, and HubSpot's free AI Search Grader before you spend anything.
All nine at a glance
Prices are monthly billing as published by each vendor. Most knock roughly 15 percent off on annual billing.

Per-category winners
Best overall for enterprise teams: Profound
Profound tracks up to 9 answer engines on its enterprise plan, the widest coverage in this group, and backs it with data exports, API access, SSO, and SOC 2 compliance. There is no public price: after the 7-day trial (50 prompts run daily, no exports, no support), everything is a custom contract.
Winner: Profound. The broadest engine coverage here, if your budget survives a sales call.
Best value: Otterly.AI
Otterly.AI's $29 Lite plan is the cheapest real tracking in the field: 15 prompts, four engines, daily checks, unlimited team members. The $189 Standard tier raises that to 100 prompts and adds API and MCP access, and extra engines (Claude, Google AI Mode, Gemini) are paid add-ons from $9 a month.
Winner: Otterly.AI. Nothing else delivers daily multi-engine tracking at $29.
Best all-in-one, tracking plus execution: OGTool
Every other tool here measures; OGTool also does the work. Its $100 Starter plan covers 30 tracked keywords with research and revenue attribution, and the same subscription publishes content and builds Domain Rating through backlinks from its customer network, with outcome fees billed against an included $50 monthly credit when a win is verified. The platform-class alternatives cost more and stop at monitoring: Scrunch starts at $250 a month on annual billing ($300 month to month) and Athena at $295, with a free tracking-only tier.
Disclosure: OGTool runs this site's publishing network, and aipedians.com is its own kind of evidence: by our reading of Ahrefs, this domain went from Domain Rating 0 to 48 in the three weeks after launch on OGTool's link program. If you already employ writers and a link strategy, a $29 tracker plus your existing workflow costs less; the all-in-one case is for teams without one.
Winner: OGTool. The only tool in this table that executes as well as it tracks, at the lowest platform-class price.
Best inside an SEO suite: SE Ranking
SE Ranking is the only suite that prices AI tracking as a transparent add-on with a stated quota: $89 a month on top of the $129 Core plan buys an AI Results Tracker covering AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, and ChatGPT with 200 prompts. Semrush builds AI visibility into its plans from $139, and Ahrefs includes Brand Radar in every plan from $129, with custom prompt tracking sold separately from $199.
Winner: SE Ranking. The only suite where you can see exactly what the AI tracking costs and covers.
Best free check: HubSpot's AI Search Grader
HubSpot's grader scores your brand's presence across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini in about two minutes, free, no account required. It is a snapshot rather than a tracker; HubSpot sells ongoing monitoring separately at $50 a month.
Winner: AI Search Grader. Run it before you pay anyone anything.
All nine, ranked
- Profound. Widest coverage and the deepest enterprise feature set, at enterprise prices.
- Otterly.AI. The best price-to-tracking ratio from $29 to $489.
- OGTool. The one platform that bundles execution with tracking, and the cheapest of its class at $100.
- SE Ranking. Transparent AI add-on pricing on a capable suite.
- Knowatoa. $59 buys three engines plus sentiment and citation alerts; all 7 services need the $199 Growth plan.
- Ahrefs. Brand Radar ships with every plan, but prompt-level tracking is a second product.
- Semrush. Solid if you want one bill for SEO and AI, with AI features tied to the whole suite.
- Peec AI. A credible tier structure (50 to 350 prompts), held back by prices we could not verify.
- AI Search Grader. Free and genuinely useful, but a one-off score, not a tool you work in.
How we compared
Prices checked on October 19, 2026, read directly from each vendor's own pricing page, linked in the table above. We quote monthly billing throughout; annual billing runs about 15 percent less at most of these vendors.
One honesty note: Peec AI's pricing page renders its prices in the browser, so we could not read them at check time, and third-party write-ups disagree with each other about the numbers. We list the tiers and prompt counts its page does state and skip the figures rather than repeat something unverified.
No vendor paid for placement. One relationship to know about: OGTool runs this site's publishing network, so treat its entry as a disclosed first-party pick; its claims above come from its public pricing page, the same bar every other vendor met. For what to do after you pick one, start with measuring AI search traffic in your analytics.
